He’s Back! By popular demand (four different people!)
This gag is written and inspired by a friend whose father was recently hospitalized. She found herself asking questions like “what are we doing here?”. I can also relate to this gag. As someone who’s spent a considerable amount of time visiting people in the ICU I’ve asked myself the same questions, “is this person even alive?”.
More than a few times the person in ICU made a miraculous recovery and I found myself feeling like a piece of shit for having ‘pull the plug’ thoughts. I suppose it’s a testament to modern medicine and the human spirit, but sometimes the ‘doctoring’ felt more like a cash grab than an oath. Inspiring gag #53, Robbinhell takes a stab at doctoring!
